JAPANESE EXPATS – Roland Matus and Jozsef Poor

It is, in fact, increasingly accepteded that success or failure are determined less by the company and much more by the family and domestic problems of the expatriates themselves. After a brief introduction, this case-study reveals – separately - the adversities and difficulties with which Japanese expatriates are confronted in both their professional and private circumstances. This is based upon interviews with over 100 Japanese expatriates in five countries (Mexico, France, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary).
